IRONMAN BOUND!!

On November 20, 2011, I will become an Ironman! After swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles, and running 26.2 miles, I will cross a finish line I thought I'd never seek. Something beyond explanation happened when I joined Team in Training last year.... After competeing in 3 Olympic distance triathlons, 3 half marathons, a century ride, and a few other races, I decided to train for, and finish, a full Ironman! Finishing those races, along with the opportunity to raise money for an amazing organization like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, made it a "no-brainer" to sign up for Ironman Arizona. I can't even contemplate becoming an Ironman without the help of ALL of my family and friends. It's simply IMPOSSIBLE!!! Donate what you can... and tell EVERONE you know!

I'm training to participate in Ironman Arizona as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
