I have decided to participate in another season of Team in Training. It was such a positive experience this Fall, I wanted to continue to train and raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This season I will be training for the St. Anthony's Triathlon in St. Petersburg, FL that will take place on 4/29/12. My kids will also participate in the kids tri the day before. It should be an exciting event!

Last season I trained and raised money in memory of my neighbor Lori's husband Mark. You can read a little bit more about it here.

This season, I am training in honor of a little guy who is fighting Leukemia right now. I "met" him through a group of photographers that I've gotten to know over the past year. His name is Grayson and he's currently undergoing treatment. You can read all about his journey on his blog, When Skies Are Gray. I would like to do some small part to make sure that children like him continue to have better and better treatment and also to let him know that there are people who care about him, even though he hasn't met them in person.
