Welcome to our Team in Training home page.



Amanda and I, Angela, are training to participate in the St. Anthony's triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team in Training on April 26th, 2009. All of us on Team in Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.



We are completing this even in memory of our dad, Jim Jerman, and for all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!



As many of you may know, our dad passed away with CML, a type of Leukemia, in September 2006. He was always proud of what we always accomplished, be it in the classroom and getting my Masters degree (Amanda that is), or on the golf course where dad was there to always have a happy hug. However, we want to honor his constant support by taking on this huge initiative and completing an Olympic length triathlon. We will be swimming just under a mile, biking 26 miles, and running 6 miles. This may seem crazy, but we are bound and determined to finish this race for our dad.



Please join us on this adventure by helping us raise the $6100 we need to compete. All you have to do is donate and we will do all the hard work of the training.
