Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

It's been a long and winding road, that leads me to another race with Team In Training. The last 4 years with them have been for of the most challenging but most rewarding of my life. I continue on with them because of the amazing advances that their research department has made in the fight against cancer! The men, women and children they have helped is far beyond anything I could ever do for anyone that i am in awe of them all!

But as much awe I feel towards them, it pales in comparison to the kindness of support each and every one of you has shown towards me and this cause. It humbles my efforts and makes me stonger. It makes me want to continue on when i just want to eat a bag of chips. It inspires me to fight harder when I ust want to sleep. It forces me longer when I want to just suck down a beer! It makes me feel better about myself because you all believe in me and the great cause!

Over the last 4 years, I have raised almost $10,000 for cancer research in the name of my mother, my downstairs neighbor's mother and brother, Tripp and Kalie's mother, my friend Jade's mother, and everyone else who has been touched by this terrible disease. With this race I hope to raise $2500, which will put me over the $10,000 mark for what i have raised. I know with all of your help, I can do it!

I will continue to train and fight: not only for my new race PR but against cancer itself! I will make you all as proud of me as I am of you all!!!!
