Welcome to my Team In Training home page. Please see my training update below and remember to:
MAKE LIFE COUNT
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. The event will be the Philadelphia ING Distance Run on Sunday September 20th, 2009. All of us involved with Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of Colin Hines and my own husband, Tom who has recovered from Leukemia. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
I would like to thank EVERYONE for their support. I could not have done it without Colin, his friends and his family.

September 7th update. Sorry I have not updated sooner. No training this past weekend due to the holiday. Our last group training session will be next weekend at Valley Forge. I have been out training on my own and am ready for the big challenge. For those checking the site and wish to attend the race, I will update any information you may need (parking, viewing sites, etc). THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me during the past 4 months; this has been an awesome experience. My only goal at this point is to finish the race. Visit me on facebook for post race pics!
