UPDATE: A special thanks to all my supporters, whether in donations, prayers, or encouraging words! You'll see on the right that my fundraising goal has been met. If you'd like to donate, you still can! Every dollar helps save lives. I have a teammate who trains with me and will be running with me in the Marine Corps. She's not as far along in her fundraising, so rather than contribute to my account, would you consider donating on her website? A big thank you from me, my teammate Jena, and all who are fighting blood cancers!

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
One special individual battling lymphoma is my dad, Bobby Boles. Currently, he is in remission. When I was home this spring, I commented on the length of his hair. (Now that he has hair again, he's growing it for Locks of Love!) His response was that he wanted to get a hat that said "Survivor" on one side and "God is good" on the other. In lieu of a hat, I'm celebrating with him by raising monies to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
Since Dad's career was in the service, I'll be running the Marine Corps Marathon in October. Running 26.2 miles and making it to the finish line is daunting for someone who has been running for less than a year, and will take a lot of physical training over the next few months. But Dad and others fighting cancer are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. I'm also going to be blogging my training experience, so you can join me there, too. Thanks for your support!
