*Training Update*
I just finished the Miami half-marathon feeling better than ever! My new goal is set for Nashville: 1:44, it will take alot of focus this next month but I find new inspiration every day! Thank you for your support!!
Racing to Save Lives!
Welcome to Jessica's Team In Training home page!!
I'm training to compete in the Country Music Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. The best part is that the funds go back to the greater Philadelphia area to help support local research!
I am completing this event in honor of my dad who fought Lipoma Sarcoma cancer in the back of his neck and shoulders after we completed the Marine Corps Marathon together in 2008. He was treated locally in Philadelphia at Fox Chase Cancer Center, driving from southern New Jersey every morning to recieve radiation and fight the disease. My dad is a real hero and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
