"Quiting has NEVER been an Option" - Lance
This May 6 will mark the end of the 7th year I have been with Team in Training...never once have I thought of quiting...never during the training, the fundraising, nor the events I do. Not during the triathlons, the marathons, the IronMan triathlons.
I've been tired, cold, injured, sick, wet, I've even been snowed on during training sessions in Iowa and Flagstaff. I've run through a thunderstorm in Flagstaff so hard I couldn't see more than a couple feet in front of me. I biked across the Coronado Bridge in rain straight down, hard and cold. I've done El Tour in 34 degrees and horizontal rain and the La Salle Mountains in Moab during a snow storm. I did Phoenix Marathon in 20 degrees. I did Maui in 100+ degrees...but I have never thought of quiting... you see, I don't have cancer and I'm not dying, so I have nothing to complain about.
Updating for your donatiion pleasure....I've moved over to WordPress to keep you all updated on our progress to find not just cures or better treatments, but better ways to get those cures and treatments to those who need them. Economics should not define if a person is to live or die.
For each $10 or more donation, you get a jar of fresh apricot jam....fresh picked and jammed with love.

Together we can win the battle against cancer.
