I'm at it again, training to participate in the Salt Lake City Marathon to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

All of us on Team in Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I have committed to raise $3,000 to support the cause, and need your support. Your donation will help further the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission of finding cures and saving lives (and it's fully tax deductible!)

November 6, 2008 - Fundraising Challenge:

I'm now a Captain for Team Logan, which means I'll mentor my teammates in their fundraising. Our Logan, Utah team of five girls TRIPLED in size this past week. We now have 15 people signed up to run with us! If you're in Logan & would like to run, please sign up.

Our official "Kick Off" is Saturday, November 15. I want to show the rest of the team just how easy it is to fundraise. Please support me in raising $200 in one week as part of Team Logan's kick off challenge.

December 2, 2008 - update

The training is going well! We're up to 6 miles for our long runs right now, but I know the mileage will keep creeping up. The team's doing great & we're all looking forward to our nutrition & injury prevention clinic next week. No more twisted ankles for me!
