Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m running a half marathon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
In 1999, my grandmother passed away from Lymphoma. Just a few months later, a very close family friend, Charla, lost her fight against the same disease. With your help, we can rid the world of these blood cancers.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
I would greatly appreaciate a minimum donation of $1 per mile. As I am running the P.F. Chang's RNR Half Marathon on January 15th, 2012, this comes out to $13.10. For every donation over $50, your name will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift certificate for a destination of your choosing.
Please help me to reach my goal and to put a stop to cancer!
