Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


Hi Everyone!


I'm training to participate in the PF Chang's Rock & Roll Marathon on January 17th, 2010 in Tempe, Arizona. I am doing the race as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training, and raising funds for blood cancer research.


I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are currently battling blood cancers, as well as for those I've personally known that have battled leukemia. No disease has ever had such a impact on my life and I'd like to do what I can to help stop leukemia, and other blood cancers from taking more lives.


I've been inspired by...

The strength of Michael Faust, diagnosed with ALL in 2004.

The strength of Florann Ament diagnosed with CLL in 2000.

And the memory of Josi-Anne Krug.
