Hey everyone! Welcome to my Team in Training Webpage!



As many of you know, I've been saying for over a year that I wanted to do a marathon. Well, now I am officially in training for the P.F. Chang's Rock N' Roll Marathon and even better, I'm doing it to raise money for an amazing and much needed cause!



The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team in Training is a program that helps thousands train for endurance events and in return, we raise money for much needed research on blood cancers. The money goes solely to finding cures for these pervasive cancers and to patients and families of patients undergoing treatment. When you take into consideration the battles and lengths these amazing people have to go through while battling these diseases, suddenly 26.2 miles doesn't seem that far. I'm asking for your support to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, and myeloma by donating money to my Team in Training fund! Also, all of your donations are 100% tax deductible!



I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. I run for Collin Smith and Danielle. When I was five years old, Collin was my best friend and battling leukemia. Although he lost the battle to leukemia at six years old, his unremitting smile is still clear in my mind; he loved life and serves as inspiration to always have a smile and see the good in everything and everyone. A friend from elementary school, Danielle was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in college. Now 23, she's still rockin' and loving life. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
