Racing to Save Lives


Hello to all my friends and family!


3 years ago I had the good fortune to have some close friends recommend to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society that they should ask me to help coach thier next adventure, America's Most Beautiful Bike ride. I said yes! I can help, but boy did they help me. What a wonderful group to be part of. Team in Training members raised over 8 million dollars on that ride alone, all which went right in to helping to fight cancer. Since then, they have made such amazing strides and these riders, runners, walkers, hikers, swimmers, keep coming back to help more people and research and I was lucky enough again to have the time to be able to help them get across 100 miles of mountains and valleys (we hope for the valleys) in Moab this year.

My email has led you to this page, and in it, it gave you more facts about what our donations have done. I will keep you up dated on this site and my site www.aliciarides.com on how we are doing on our adventure to help stop cancer from hurting the ones we love.

    "Alicia, July 31 is the first anniversary of Marie's death from a dread disease. Marie was bicycling up Mt Lemmon with us in Jan & Feb last year, diagnosed with lymphoma on March 7 and after a courageous struggle, she died on July 31. Marie was 59 yrs young. Thank you for honoring her in the "Team in Training". Hugs, Judy"
