Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I've decided to join Team in Training for my very first season to ride in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride in honor of all those that may be suffering with all types of cancers. Joining this team also gives me the opportunity to participate in an endurance event; racing for their cause - to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I will be cycling 100 miles on June 6th in Lake Tahoe in honor of all who are battling blood cancers.

I had a roommate that was in a fight for his life every day because of cancer. I also had a very good friend Susan Mortensen who passed away after coming down with cancer. All in all, I have felt helpless in being able to offer any kind of help that would be useful, but joining Team in Training (TNT) has given me the opportunity to help potentially thousands who are in a fight for their lives every single day. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Supporting in my efforts to make a difference will go a long way. My personal goal is to raise double the amount TNT has asked me to raise, which is only $4,400. The money raised will help further the research for the cure of leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
