4 weeks to go

I am back on track and ready to finish strong. I have been to the podiatrist and he suggested some inserts and a lift for my right leg. Apparently my right leg is shorter then my left and it was causing me to run awkwardly. I have had 2 good weeks of running to work in my new shoes and supports. I ran 6 miles last week and 7 and a half yesterday. I will continue to add a mile over the next 3 weeks getting me to 10 miles prior to the race. Come race day I will have to gut out the last 3. This is where I will need to loose myself in thoughts of why I am doing this. For all of the people that have suffered through getting and fighting cancer. As hard as it seems to run this event, it has no comparison to some of the stories you hear of people and their fight for their lives.
