Racing to Save Lives



Welcome to my Team In Training home page.



I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!



I am also running in honor of my mother, Margaret Nottoli Bracken, who lost her battle with lymphoma 20 years ago on December 13, 1988. I can't help but to think that had she been diagnosed today, the funds that TNT and LLS have raised over the past 20 years would have helped cure her cancer. I am doing this so others may never have to suffer the loss of a mother, wife, sister, or friend due to blood cancer.
