Racing to Save Lives
HEY EVERYONE!!!!!! I DID IT!!!!! 26.2 MILES!!!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!
I did this as a participant in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I completed this event in **MEMORY of CASEY ISREAL - WHO JUST PASSED AWAY ON THE 16TH OF SEP AFTER LOSING HIS BATTLE**, in MEMORY of Janet Santelli - my Grandmother, Orelia Garza, Bette Barksdale and Glenn Smith and in HONOR of Command Sergeant Major Sergio Rivera - of The US Army; and Kitty Smith, Santa Diaz, SFC(R) Kruithof and Mily Lopez - all of which are currently recieving treatment; and all the individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
I made my goal but my running partner Diana Martinez did not - if you still would like to donate please donate to her website and help her make her goal? Her is her site:
