Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
In memory of my brother, Christopher Nils Johnson, my uncle, Peter Wayne Johnson, an old friend, Bryn Enright, and in honor of my grandmother, Miriam Lehn Johnson, I am participating in my third triathlon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training.
On June 17, 2012, I completed my first sprint triathlon with Team in Training. With the help and support of friends, family, and even strangers, I was able to raise over $1700!
On September 23, 2012, I competed in the Westchester Olympic distance triathlon, and I raised $2000.
Those were two of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
SO I'M DOING ANOTHER ONE!
THE NEW YORK CITY TRIATHLON!
WOOOO HOOOOO!
I have a mission to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
I have experienced what this disease can do to a child and a family.
Please help me to make a difference in the life of another child who has been affected by this disease.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
