Racing to Save Lives Welcome to my Team In Training home page. I'm training to participate in a half marathon in San Diego on May 31, 2009 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event, with my two sisters, in honor of my cousin Heather Cunningham who passed away on April 4, 2008 from complications of thyroid cancer at the age of 26. Although she did not have leukemia, cancer has touched all of us in some way or another and I wanted to do something to help!
