1 week to go!!! You all have been so amazing. I never dreamed that it was possible to raise so much!!! Thank you for everything. My mom and I have absolutely THE BEST support system~


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


I have not told many people, those of you who know me best probably understand it's the denial factor. However in April my mom, my best friend, was diagnosed with a type of Leukemia called CLL. I have had a lot of trouble with all of this as you can imagine. However, instead of worrying alone (because I still will worry), I'm trying to do something about it by training with Team in Training for the Vermont City Marathon and the Fairfield Half Marathon this spring/summer.



Those of you who want an update on my mom: Currently she is in what is called stage 0. This is the good news. However, there is not a known cure for CLL. I put emphasis on the KNOWN part because it's out there and if any group can work towards finding it, I believe it is TNT and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Please help my mom, me and the the many others who are affected by this disease. Please also know that TNT and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society work very hard with other groups, combining research and findings.


I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.


All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
