Thank-You

October 27, 2008 will be a day I will always remember.

Walking, and finishing the Dublin Marathon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Team In Training was a very memorable and rewarding experience.

Over the 4 days we spent in Dublin I met some truely remarkable people-survivors, family members and people fighting the battle for their lives over cancer. People who are making a differance in the fight to over come cancer by working to raise funds that support reseach and patient services.

All the funds raised through team in training have and continue to make a differance in the lives of many people.

I as an individual raised $6,400.00 , our Connecticut team raised over $54,000.00 and the USA team together over $900,000.00-something to be proud of.

I want to Thank each and everyone who helped me be a successful participant in the Dublin Marathon. Without your encouragement, support and finicial contributions I would have never been able to do it.

Crossing the finish line after walking the 26.2 miles was a very exciting, uplifting feeling. As i walked I was continually thinking of all the people I personally know who have been affected by cancer in some way-weather it be personal, a family member, best friend aquantence-we are all affected.

Thank-you for helping me do my small part in helping to find new treatments, supporting those affected, finding a cure-the ultimate goal.
