Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

On June 10, I will complete my 6th event with Team in Training. We haven't found a cure yet so I'm going to keep going. I will be completing the Wendy's Triathlon, a 1/2 mile swim, a 17 mile bike ride and then a 5k (3.1 mile) run. Sure, it will be difficult but not as difficult as chemo and other cancer treatments. So until there is a cure, I'm going to continue my support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission. Last year I completed a TNT event in honor of Parker and in memory of Seth. I will do so again this year but if you would like me to also "tri" in honor or in memory of your loved one, let me know. For each donation over $50, I will wear a ribbon on my jersey with the name of your loved one. I'll be out there racing and fighting for those who are no longer with us, for those who are in treatment and are fighting their own fight and to celebrate those who have won their battles.
