Racing to Save Lives


Welcome

to my Team In Training home page.


Mission accomplished on the Columbus Marathon on October 18th...A year and a half after my heart attack, at the age of 45, I finished in 4 Hours, 13 minutes and I was very blessed throughout the marathon knowing that you continue to give and that my heores, Wendie Steele and Clint Hurtgen continue to fight Lymphoma. Your continual giving and support, their fight against this disease has encouraged me to keep running and now I'm training to run my second marathon on January 10th, 2010. The Walt Disney World Marathon in Orlando, Florida. I have made it a promise to keep running as long as you keep giving and they keep fighting and so here we go...I could continue to use your support and prayers. Thanks, in advance, for partnering with me in this cause. You are making a difference.


As before, I will run this marathon as a member of The Leukemia &

Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In

Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin

lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and I especially want to dedicate this event to Wendy Steele and her father, Clint Hurtgen. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
