Hey Everyone,

I have been training hard for The Nike Womens Marathon in SanFrancisco is it on October 16th. So I have about 11 weeks left to train and to get to my fundraising goal. I have pledged to raise $3,000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I only havd $945 left to go. If you are able to help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Did you know - With the many RELENTLESS efforts by fundraisers and researchers, LLS has helped take the cure rate for CML patients from 5% to 90%. Today we are working toward safer cures to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

I truly believe that the reason my mom is able to be in remission today is because others before me did this fundraising to help research for new medicines and a cure! So now it is my turn to help the fight.

Update on my mom- her hair is growing back, and she is liking her sassy new short hair-do!

She is one hot mamma! She is finally feeling herself again, and getting back that spunky and energetic personality! I love seeing her feeling better- finally. Chemo was rough- but she is one tough chic.

Hey Evereyone,

Well last weekend I finished my first Half Marathon- The CAP City Half Marathon. Time was 2:53. My goal was to complete in under 3 hours- I did it! It was a great day. the weather was perfect, and I had a great run. Felt good the whole time- and my knees held up. I ran the first 8 miles, then walked 2, then alternated walking and running, and then ran the last 1/2 into the finish. The last stretch into the chute and finish line, I grabbed my mom's hand and she ran across the finish with me! This was for her! It was very enotional, not only had I finished my first half marathon, but my mom had also finished her battle with cancer and was in remission. Nothing better.

So, I am doing it again. CRAZY- I know. I have started training all over again for The Nike Women's Marathon in San Fran. I really want to do this race because the whole race benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society- so cool!! Please support me in raising funds to help all those people who have and will have Leukemia and Lymphoma.

Hi Everyone,

I haven't updated in quite a while. We are only 5 weeks from CAP city, and I just ran our peak milage on 4/2/11. I ran/walked 12 miles in 2 hours and 45 min, averaging a 13.5 overall pace. I am ready for CAP city.

Also, lots of great stuff has been happening for my mom as well. She finished her last chemo on 3/11. Her most recent PET scan was clean!!!! She is officially in remission!! Yay! Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support.

The last thing i have to tell you about is that right after CAP city I will be doing this AGAIN!

I have decided to do it again for so many reasons, but mostly because I want to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society.

I will be traning and raising money for The Nike Womens Half Marathon in October 2011.

My goal is to raise $3,000, please help me obtain this goal!
