Racing to Save Lives

Hi Everyone,

Last week was my first swim practice and it was TOUGH!. I forgot that I could not breathe under water. I have enjoyed working out with the team these past few weeks. Our coach really challenges us to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones. I hope I can do all three events in one day and still be breathing to tell aobut it.

I'm training to participate in the St. Anthony's Triathlon in St Petersburg Florida. The triathlon will take place on April 25th 2010.

I decided to particpate in the event because cancer has affected several people in my life. I really enjoy training and raising money for this great cause. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in

honor of Kimberly Church-White who is currently battling cancer. She is one of the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
