Running for Tink!!!

As I train for and run the Disney World Half Marathon I will be running in memory of Jacquie, also remembered as Tink. She loved Tinkerbell and it is only fitting that I run the half marathon in Disney World, the home of her favorite character.

Thank you for visiting my Team in Training fundraising page. I hope that your visit means a donation, remember no donation is too small when trying to find the cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma, and other blood cancers.

While Jacquie was at Roswell Cancer Institute, she was often found walking laps around her unit. 33 laps equaled 1 mile. She walked 330 laps during the time she was there, 10 miles. As I prepare and run, this is a memory that will be in my mind always. Even as the running becomes tough, I know that she fought even harder. She is an inspiration and I know she is sprinkling Pixie dust on us all!

Thank you in advacne for your love and support!

'Cause when push comes to shove

You taste what you're made of

You might bend 'til you break

'Cause it's all you can take

On your knees you look up

Decide you've had enough

You get mad, you get strong

Wipe your hands, shake it off,

THEN YOU STAND.
