Keep on Keepin' On...

Greetings to my family, friends, frenemies, co-workers, and strangers who are visiting my Team In Training home page!!!

I'm training to participate in PF Changs RNR Marathon 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training! It's doubly exciting because my brother lives there and I will finally be able to visit him!!!

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and all other kinds of cancer. Did you know that THE LLS's research has led to medical breakthroughs for many other cancers in addition to blood cancers? Supporting this society by sponsoring me for the race helps more people than you may even be able to imagine! People like my Mom, who's a strong survivor, and my best friend Cheryl who's fighting the good fight right now. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
