I Run For Life
Hello my friends and welcome to my Team In Training home page. My web page is very special because with your help it will help save lives.
I'm training to participate in yet another endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. As most of you know, I now have the pleasure of helping to coach new and returning participants to run endurance events all over the United States.
To say the least this cause and the people affected by this disease have become a huge part of my life and I am forever changed because of it!
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of Bryna, Anne, Jaymun, Karigan, Miranda and all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to raise valuable funds!
The mother of one of the little boys I run for put it best.
I dont know anyone who is destitute; everyone can afford to give something! The life of my son depends on the generosity of others. The people that do the giving certainly, but equally important are the people who do the asking!
This is why I must keep asking. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
If you have someone in your life that has been touched by these horrible diseases and you would like me to run in their honor or possibly their memory, please let me know their names. They are my motivation. It is because of them I do what I do.

Training Update!
We have just finished the first week and are starting the second! It has been great and the Team this season is huge!!! We are having fun getting to know each other and many members of the team have a strong tie to the cause. This is going to be the best season ever! Thank you to all who have donated so far and thanks for checking in!!!
3-18-09 This season is progressing very well and my runners are really getting into full swing! They have even had a chance to participate in their first race!! What I am most proud of though is their commitment to the cause and their fundraising efforts are outstanding! I am so proud of all of them!! Stay tuned!!
