Last September we lost Loanne Van Groningen to blood cancer. In her memory we are working together as Team Van G to raise money to support blood cancer research and save the lives of blood cancer patients.
We have joined Team In Training with participants across the US to raise funds to continue The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's funding of breakthrough development of therapies that have already saved and continue to save thousands of lives. Since Team In Training's inception in 1988, nearly half a million participants have raised over $1 billion to support LLS’s research and patient services programs. As a team, we are that much stronger, but we still need your support.
Claudia Allen Van Groningen and Lisa Van Groningen Labogin are Team Van G. We are asking you to support the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society by making a donation here on our team page.
As Team Van G we are training for the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco on October 19, 2014. We will train with participants across the US to prepare for sports events that will support cures and access to treatments for blood cancer patients! Please help us reach our $5000 goal.
