With every team run this season I will honor a survior, someone fighting cancer right now, or someone we lost way too soon. This is why I come back to Team in Training season after season.

My journey with Team in Training started in 2008 when I joined a running team to train for my very first half marathon. Little did I know at the time how this would change my life. My running buddies became my best friends.
Over the years, I moved across continents, changed teams, made new friends, lost old friends and always remained close to the mission of finding a cure for cancer.
To accomplish that mission, I’m participating once again in a sports endurance event (San Diego Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon, June 2016) as a member of Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
Losing someone to cancer never gets easier. The list of friends I run in honor and memory of just keeps getting longer.
When we don’t know what to do, we do the only thing we can. Raise money. Raise awareness. Raise hope. Please join me in the fight against cancer!
