WELCOME TO OUR TEAM! Ho‘omau is the Hawaiian value of perseverance and persistence. In practicing this value, we become more tenacious and resilient.Those who ho‘omau do not give up easily, and they consider mistakes and failure to be temporary conditions from which to learn and move on from.  

What is a community team? As a single member of Team In Training we can do incredible things but as a part of a bigger team, we can make an even a bigger impact!  Please consider joining Team Ho'omau and let's join forces and send a message of hope and let people know they are not alone in their fight.  Our team goal, in to raise $300,000 by Rock and Roll Vegas this November.  We are already well on our way so please join the team and let’s put up a monster number.

This team was started not to honor any one person but rather to honor the incredible spirit of the people we aim to serve and to honor the fighting spirit of every TNTer.  When confronted with a life-threatening illness, we ask people to keep their spirits up and to fight a very difficult fight, every day.  We ask them to persevere through treatments, through clinical trials and to face an unknown future.  This team is a tribute to that fighting spirit and since my event is in Hawaii we wanted to tie in the amazing Hawaiian culture and invoke their fighting value of persistence and perseverance.

Anything worth having is worth working for. Persistence is often the defining quality between those who fail and those who succeed.

There is never much satisfaction in giving up, and Ho‘omau is the value pushing you to continue, to persevere in your efforts by renewing those efforts, and to perpetuate those that worked well.

What is a community team? A community team is a collection of teammates across sports, chapters, events etc, and all of our respective fundraising is counted toward our team goal of $300,000

Does this take away from my fundraising? No, all your fundraising gets counted toward your goal AND it gets credited to our team goal.

You can sign up for any TNT event in the country and be a part of this team.  Go to https://registration.teamintraining.org/event-search and find an event that you like and then when you get to "How will you participate?" you can join as a team (below)
