Hey Everyone! The next raffle fundraiser is beginning now! In the raffle is a homemade prayer shaw which has been blessed. Ok, so please forgive me, it has been a while since my last post…It is time to catch up. It doesn’t seem that long; however, as I am sure you can relate, things get busy and before you know it nearly a month has passed. I apologize because I know that even though I became busy with other things, cancer didn’t stop affecting people’s lives…

So I will recap, Dianne Pate won the last raffle. Thank you to everyone who donated! I will be placing the next raffle soon.

I am joining up with Creative Canvas to have a painting class for $35 per person on 3/23/13 at 10:00 at West End UMC in which a percentage of the money raised will be donated to LLS and the rest of the money will cover the materials needed. If you are interested in participating, you can comment below or just let me know. We will be painting the ‘blooming cross’. I am sooo excited about the class! I hope that everyone can come out.

I am up to 9 miles!!!!! I know I can hardly believe it too! The person who did not believe in running unless she was being chased, and would look twice to see if she could take whatever was chasing her; is now up to 9 miles. I have found myself saying over and over ‘left foot, right foot’. It helps cause I know that it is one step closer. I have called myself out numerous occasions for all of the excuses that I can come up with as to why I need to stay in bed and not go running in the morning; however, the statement of ‘Cancer is already up this morning’ always gets me up. I pray regularly for those impacted by cancer as well as their family and their struggle keeps me moving, keeps me going. It is time to stand up for what is right! It is time to stop the hurting!! It is time for healing!!! It is time to fight!!!! Won’t you fight with me?! Together as one, WE can help put an end to cancer!!!!!
