So not gonna lie, I am a little disappointed that no one participated in my raffle for the autographed UNA footbal by Coach Bobby Wallace. Despite being disappointed I am not going to let it bring me down.

I have had an amazing past couple of days raising money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and that has kept me motivated!!! I am $486 away from meeting my goal!!!!! SO COOL!!! Thank you to all who have supported me up until this point! I still have moments struggling physically but focusing on the cause and through your support I keep pushing!!

So today, I once again got to experience my love/hate relationship with running. I had an AMAZING run last Saturday however my 16 miles this Saturday decided to challenge me a little more. Despite the challenges, I DID IT!!! I finished 16 miles. If someone would have told me that in the year 2013 I would be training for a marathon and overall doing well, I would have laughed so hard!!! I can't explain the amazing feeling I have though each week when I complete the next challenge (and no the feeling has nothing to do with my blisters, chaffing, or muscle aches lol). To know that I am setting out to achieve this goal and am being successful so far is very rewarding.

I want to say thank you to all of you who have supported me financially, emotionally, and spiritually in this process so far. I still have a long way to go but it is nice to know I have your support. Please continue to help me spread the word of my fundraising efforts!!! Only 25% of what I raise goes to administrative funding, the rest goes towards the fight against cancer!!!
