Hi, my name is Kristie!

I would like to welcome you to my Team In Training home page!

I have always wanted to run a half marathon and I am so excited to finally have the opportunity! While I train for the marathon, I have a chance to support a great organization that aims to fund a cure for blood cancers. I have joined The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training program!

During Team In Training, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

I will be training to run the Country Music Half Marathon in Nashville, TN in April. I will be running in honor of Clyde Goode. Clyde was dianosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at the age of 42. He is currently going through a series of eight treatments including draw, spinals, chemotherapy, medications and hospital stays. Clyde is a former defensive back for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide and a father of four.
