Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in the Chicago Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. As a Home Health Physical Therapist, I am daily in contact with patients and families going through the extreme challenges of cancer. However, in the last year or so, cancer has become very personal, losing not only several patients, but also friends, colleages, parents of friends, and a family member. I recently told my friend who just lost his brother to cancer that I wanted to honor his brother, Greg, and others who have personally fought the battle of cancer. Most of us are just spectators who can merely cheer for these brave souls. I told him that raising money for research and running a marathon was my way of giving Greg and others a "standing ovation." Please join me in standing and cheering for these. I need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! Remember that no donation is too small (or too BIG). When you make a donation, be sure to check with your employer to see if they are willing to match your gift. Many companies are glad to do it.
